Author Biography

Brenda Coultas is the author of A Handmade Museum, winner of the Poetry Society of America’s Norma Farber First Book Award. An Indiana native, Coultas now lives in New York where she is on the faculty at Touro College and teaches in the Bowery Poetry Club’s Study Abroad on the Bowery program. A 2006 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow, Coultas has also served as series curator at the Poetry Project and as a frequent instructor at Naropa University’s Summer Writing Program.
